Thermal Baths Spa, Wellness and Hotel at Saint Maurice
When the
chill of the Swiss year comes on take a dip in the hottest thermal water
in Switzerland. The Bains des Lavey are located a short taxi or
public bus ride from the Saint Maurice train station between the eastern
end of Lake Geneva and Martigny near the village of Lavey Les Bains.
The two outdoor pools and the indoor pool are open all year at a temperature
of 32°C to 36°C. At night, the illumination of the pools make
it look like a fairytale land.
This unique Swiss institution offers an oasis of Jacuzzis, waterjet baths, swan-neck and mushroom-shaped showers, waterfalls, and underwater currents with massage loungers. The oriental area offers a choice of Hammam, Turkish bath and saunas and the Nordic pavilion provides a relaxing break and a change of scenery. Wellness Center offers a wonderful range of treatments, Dead Sea Wraps, essential oils, Alpine salt rubs and Dead Sea Mud wraps, Edelweiss massage and Facial treatment "les Fondamentaux" facial treatments.
Nestled in the beautiful setting below the cliffs, the Grand Hôtel des Bains is a luxury 3 star spa resort hotel hotel featuring a view the Dents du Midi mountain range. The hotel’s 68 bedrooms, Suites and Junior Suites overlooking the shade park and the bath pools have been newly renovated for comfort, calm, luxury for the ideal escape.
Prices for the Bains de Lavey range from 25 CHF for basic 3 hours swim, sauna and Hammam to comprehensive packages - hot and cold self-service buffet at "L'Oasis des Bains" restaurant with 3 hours access to the baths - 60 CHF, with massage 127 CHF, breaks for two with body scrubs with "Alpine Salt" and two meals at the "Chalet des Bains" restaurant for 202 CHF, or 2 day hotel stay Wellness Break with Hydrotherapy and Clay Wrap for 475 CHF. The baths are open every day 9am to 9pm - Friday and Saturday 9am to 10pm
