Oberrickenbach – Engelberg
The
Walenpfad is a unique high altitude hiking route leading from the Brunnigebiet
to the Bannalpgebiet, lying above Wolfenschiessen. The hiker on this wonderful
Alpine trail can expect to see lovely beautiful mountain scenery on this part
day 11 kilometer four hour route with its mysterious Walenstöcke and a view

Engelberg – Aaschlucht – Grafenort
Between huge jutting jags of rock, the roaring rushing water of
the River Aa seeks its way down into the valley. This spectacle can be
observed
on one of the nine stone, metal or suspension bridges crossing the Aa.
The 2 hour 15 min trail, after crossing over the first old stone bridge,
you reach the beginning of the wild Aaschlucht. The end of the ravine
is also marked by an old stone bridge. The remaining length runs flat
until Grafenort. From there the train can be taken back to Engelberg. Engelberg-Titlis

Oberrickenbach
The Zwärgliweg Bannalp is a hike designed for children' with
7 stops. At each stop there is something to discover or inspire wonder.
A colorful dwarf figure points visitors the way around the Bannalpsee.
The starting point is the mountain station of the cable car Fell-Chrüzhütte
Bannalp. The hiking time on its own lasts 1 hour and passes various barbecue
areas around the Bannalpsee. The path is related to a book “The
Mysery of the Glistening Stone” (Das Geheimnis des funkelnden Steins)
